I hope that Wanda would like to join us. It needs not be formal at all. Our dinners together on a regular basis are not. It could be like that, no? A time to talk, comfortably. Share in one another's company. [ casually...even if it's hard for daphne to not want to turn it into a whole affair. ]

I can ask, but I know they are not used to dinners as we are. I do not know how much Pietro has told you about his life before coming here, but I know he has lived on the streets before. Even as modest as our home is, it is still very grand to him. [And this was Eloise scaling down and purposely not trying to match either the Mayfair house or the country estate.]

He shared with me a little, but I did not know that. I would not wish for them to be at discomfort. If not dinner, then there must be something we can do together, too. But we shall have to see what they say. There must be any number of activities we could participate in together.

[ right? they may be regency ladies, but they can blend in with the modern day folks and fun!! eloise certainly already has a good deal of experience doing so. ]

I am not saying a family dinner is not possible, but it just may not look like what we think it. Perhaps we can cook together or something.

I will be happy to adjust. Cooking together sounds very nice. I like the sound of it. I did help Pietro cook on the day of the housewarming, you know.
