Welcome to the Bridgerton-Basset Christmas Eve Ball! The property hosting the affair contains the home of the hosts, which is newly moved into but no less warm and bright. Much of the festivities can be found outdoors in the backyard, where gas-powered heaters have been brought in and strategically placed about. The hosts would likely be happy to give you a tour of the inside as well, just ask ( the three residents are all delighted to be there, after Anthony surprised Daphne and Simon with a new home and property. ) There's greenery and white flowers, Christmas Roses, in abundance about, looking more rustic and toned down from what more modern people may expect from the holiday. Especially of note is a display of wrist and boutonniere corsages for guests to wear and have as a party favor. All of the flowers are from native owned florists this time around though and with that, the chance for varying degrees of aphrodisiacs when near them. Have fun with that! Alongside the rows of corsages are dance cards embellished with BRIDGERTON-BASSET Christmas Eve Ball in pretty cursive script, a red ribbon to wear on one's wrist, and of course tiny pencils , for guests to use.

Dance and nosh all night with the provided wooden dance floor and wide array of finger foods. There are even benches placed around to take a rest. A string quartet plays a variety of Christmas tunes to bring the holiday cheer. There's a non-alcoholic fruit punch, lemonade, and water ; a pear rum punch and a champagne cocktail, sweet and tart from blackcurrant liqueur. Yummy offerings both savory and sweet are spread on tables: crackers and cheese ; little sandwiches ; cranberry and brie tarts ; beef wellington bites ; prosciutto wrapped pears with argula ; stuffed mushrooms ; much more and multiple displays of desserts, too!
Around midnight, it starts to flurry and snow large soft flakes, providing a lovely blanket of white around the yard.

Around the party, Christmas crackers can be found, containing a variety of items that Daphne certainly didn't intend to include! How'd they get there? Who knows, it's Duplicity. When opened they may contain : a pair of pretty red panties in the guest's size, a little silicone dick that expands once the cracker is popped open ( surprise! ), a cheap silicone vibrating cock ring, a rhinestone ring, a frosted jingle bell pendant meant to be attached to a Submissive's collar, a small pile of condoms, or a perfectly innocent pile of sweets!
There's kissing boughs and balls hanging around, both of which were lovingly handcrafted by the hostess. Affection is, after all, encouraged! Tis the season.

Only enough room for the intended guests!
